My favorite gift I gave last Christmas was a photo book I gave to my sister about her family. I put a photo of their pond with frog fountain on the front. My 5 year old nephew shouted when he opened the book – “Hey, that’s our pond! Mom! That’s our pond!” It was so fun to watch the expressions of joy, and hear peals of laughter as each child found their photos in the book.
Not only did it bring back memories for them, it created a long-lasting memory for me. It was easy to make – although it did take time trying to pick the photos I wanted for each page.
Now I’m creating a new photo book to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I’m excited too because I just found this sale – I can buy one photo book and get a second one for free. Now I can make a photo book for them, and keep one for myself as well. Couldn’t be better timing. Just thought I’d share.
